Having undertaken several mentoring and leadership roles since her schooling days, alongside valued experience as a Relief Educator shortly after graduation; it further reaffirms her passion for educating and empowering others. She subsequently landed her first permanent job as a Finance Officer in People’s Association where she was tasked to implement and advise both staff and volunteers on Financial Rules and Regulations as well as Standard Operating Procedures. Additionally, she was responsible in spearheading, organizing and conducting briefings and training sessions. Whilst she enjoyed the diversified portfolio, meeting people from all walks of lives was definitely a highlight.
Enthused to seek a more challenging and highly rewarding career with bountiful opportunities to make a difference in the lives of others, it drove Liyana to be a qualified Financial Services Consultant with TAQ Wealth Associates (TAQWA). Given her analytical, meticulous and organized nature, Liyana is continuously committed to instilling in others the importance of financial planning by customizing each of her client’s portfolio to suit both their present and future needs.
