Graduated with a Higher Nitec in Integrated Logistics Management in 2005, Rahmat’s GPA qualified him for Polytechnic entry but he had to forgo that as his parents were unable to financially support his further education. After serving his National Service, Rahmat worked in the shipping industry in 2008. With the high cost of living in Singapore, his income was stagnant and he had little to no savings to support himself and his family.
Meeting his director, Qayyim who was still a consultant at that point of time was the turning point. They frequently meet up for soccer as they were ex-classmates. Seeing Qayyim driving a car just 1 year into the business convinced him if qayyim can do it, so can he.
A consistent AIA Million Dollar Club Member, he has since tripled his income. Happily married with 3 children, he is now able to juggle his career, family and personal time.
Rahmat is currently pursuing his studies to be a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
